Jessica Wassenaar

Jessica Wassenaar is the Senior Director of Operations for the Women Business Collaborative. Before joining the WBC Jessica provided interim operations support for a number of nonprofits and served as Chief of Staff for Keep America Beautiful. Jessica started out her career in Washington, DC  working at the Folger Shakespeare Library and the technology policy division of what is now the Bank Policy Institute. In Austin, TX she has served as the Operations Manager for the Austin Parks Foundation and held several roles at Earthshare of Texas including Executive Director.  Jessica has served on several nonprofit boards including Challah for Hunger (Nazun) and the Austin Rowing Club.  In addition to her career in the nonprofit sector, Jessica has worked as a technology consultant at Kearney—a global management consulting firm—and as a project manager for Dell in Education Services.

Jessica holds an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and a B.A.from Smith College.
