Shannon Snead

Since 2018, Shannon Snead has served as the Vice President of Development at Win (Women in Need), the largest provider of shelter, supportive housing and wrap around services to homeless families in New York City. Prior to Win, Ms. Snead spearheaded fundraising at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City – where she increased fundraising by 33%; doubled the number of students in mentoring relationships and helped the organization to expand its service footprint to all five boroughs. Ms. Snead has also held senior fundraising positions at the Brooklyn Public Library and BRIC.
Ms. Snead earned her B.A. in Russian Studies from Smith College and is a graduate of the CORO Leadership New York program. Ms. Snead lives in Brooklyn with her husband and spends her free time enjoying college football, volunteering at God’s Love We Deliver, attending cultural performances and traveling.
