James Quincey, Chairman & CEO, The Coca-Cola Company
James Quincey joined the company in 1996 and has held a number of leadership roles around the world. He became CEO in 2017 and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2019. Before becoming CEO, Quincey served as president and chief operating officer from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, he was President of the company’s Europe Group and president of the Northwest Europe and Nordics business unit. Quincey has also served in a series of operational roles in Latin America, including president of the South Latin division and president of the company’s Mexico division. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Quincey was a consultant with Bain & Co. and The Kalchas Group.
Quincey, who speaks English and Spanish, received a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Liverpool. He is a native of Britain.
