Jennifer Rumsey, President & CEO, Cummins, Inc.

A known problem solver committed to creating positive change, Jennifer Rumsey is the President and CEO of Cummins Inc. In this role, she oversees the strategic direction,  growth initiatives and global operations for the 104-year-old, Indiana-based company.

Prior to becoming CEO, Rumsey served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, President of the Components, one of Cummins’ five business segments, and Chief Technical Officer. She has focused her 25-year career on advancing technology and bringing products to market that power customers’ success and make a positive difference in the world. Rumsey co-authored Cummins’ Destination Zero strategy, the company’s strategy to go further, faster to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) and air quality impacts of its products and reach zero emissions by 2050. She is passionate about building high-performing, diverse teams and has dedicated her time at Cummins to developing others and creating a welcoming environment where innovation thrives.
