Bayer Shannon (2022)

Shannon Bayer, JD, is a Principal Consultant and the Vice President of Revenue at Linkage, a SHRM company. Shannon’s client-facing capacity as Principal Consultant allows her to engage with leaders from a variety of organizations from local to global in many different industries. For over ten years she has been a part of the team building and bringing Linkage’s point of view on leadership and inclusion to these clients. She is highly regarded as a top-notch facilitator who is ready to respectfully challenge the status quo and take leaders to the next level. Shannon brings an in-depth expertise and a passion for designing and implementing programs focused on advancing women in leadership—and empowering each leader with the knowledge they need to transform how they show up in their role and drive change in their organization.

As a keynote speaker, Shannon brings stories from her personal leadership journey to the forefront, connecting her real-life experiences and work with leaders globally to key leadership concepts designed to help participants reflect on their own journey and take control of their path forward.

Prior to joining Linkage, Shannon was a Scientific Recruiter for Kforce and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. At Dana-Farber, she coordinated the training and career development of Dana-Farber’s postdoctoral researchers, while attending law school at night. With a minor in international law and background in human resources, she started her own law practice and successfully grew her business using alternative and innovative methods in a challenging economic environment.

Shannon holds a BS in animal science from the University of Vermont and a JD in international law from Suffolk University. She was a rower in college and still loves to get on the water when she can. She spends time outdoors and will travel for a good hike or beach day with her dog and son, Max. Currently, Shannon resides in the greater Indianapolis, IN, area of the US after living in New England for over 25 years.
