Sunny Ackerman currently serves as President of Specialist Staffing Group, the U.S. operations of international STEM talent-provider SThree PLC and oversees every aspect of the region’s business. With a niche target market, Specialist Staffing Group caters to various industries, including banking & finance, life sciences, technology, energy, engineering, and creative, generating over $450 million in revenue annually, with an OUP conversion rate of 30%+.

Sunny is a recognized leader in the recruiting industry with two decades of extensive experience spanning various sectors. Before joining SThree, Sunny was theAmericas President for Frank Recruitment Group, and IT recruitment firm owned by TPG Capital.  While there, she led FRG’s largest region and spearheaded the development of specialty markets, new brands, and revenue growth. Sunny also spent 14 years serving in several executive leadership positions ManpowerGroup,  as Senior Vice President & General Manager leading the largest business unit in North America, spanning 2000 employees and $1.4B in revenue.  

Staffing Industry Analyst listed Sunny as 2022 & 2023 North American’s 100 of the most influential and bold leaders in the industry, a 4-time receipt to the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing, 2022 Women Impact Tech awardee, and recently named one of most influential leaders in Texas by the Dallas 500.  An avid believer in investing in the next generation of leaders, Sunny sits on the Leadership Council for Women’s Business Collaborative, and she serves on the Board of Director’s TechServe Alliance.

Sunny is often called upon to discuss industry topics such as women in STEM, employment, and workplace trends.  Sunny currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and completed the executive leadership program at the University of Wisconsin-School of Business.
