As CEO, Founder and board member of Eventbrite, Julia is responsible for the vision, strategy, and growth of the company. Under her leadership, the company has become a global ticketing and event technology platform that has received multiple awards for workplace culture. These accolades include Fortunes 100 Best Workplaces in the U.S, Glassdoors Employees Choice Best Places to Work, and San Francisco Business Times Best Places to Work in the SF Bay Area. Julia has been honored as one of Inc.s Female Founders 100, Fortunes 40 Under 40 business leaders, Inc.s Under 35, Julia Hartz and Fortunes Most Powerful Women. Entrepreneurs. She sits on the boards of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and the UCSF Foundation Investment Company and serves as a volunteer for Code2College. Julia holds a BA in telecommunications from Pepperdine University.
