Alexis Dennard leads Mass Markets Supply Chain, Supplier Diversity & Sustainability within AT&T’s Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain organization. In this multi-faceted role, Alexis oversees procurement operations in support of mobility and broadband. She also leads AT&T’s Supplier Diversity & Sustainability programs. Her responsibilities include continued guidance and direction of AT&T’s efforts to empower the economic success of diverse suppliers while driving job impact to underserved communities. In addition, Alexis is responsible for supporting AT&T’s Corporate Social Responsibility goals along with magnifying impact by driving sustainability improvements into our supply chain. Under her leadership, AT&T was recognized by Fair360 (formerly Diversity, Inc.) as the 2023 Top Corporation for Supplier Diversity.
Alexis most recently served as Director of Network Operations for AT&T Global Operations & Services. In this role, she oversaw nationwide teams responsible for providing local and access ordering services for Wholesale carriers and Small Business Broadband operations.
Alexis has also served as Director-Chief of Staff to the senior vice president of Global Delivery Services, who oversaw day to day operations for Ordering & Delivery of all services for AT&T Business customers worldwide. She was responsible for strategic and tactical execution of priorities and employee program initiatives, while fostering an environment that enhanced the 5,000+ employee organization’s culture principles.
During her 20+ year career, Alexis held various positions within Wholesale Sales, Project Management, Consumer Operations, Human Resources and Technology Operations. In most previous roles, she supported Human Resources through chief of staff support/budget management and led the executive referral program in Talent Acquisition. She served as a Senior Technical Manager in the Customer Experience & Business Planning organization, supporting Consumer center transformation efforts through proof-of-concept technology trials. Alexis has in-depth experience in Retail, Project Management, Sales Account Management and Call Center Management.
Alexis holds a bachelor’s in marketing from Hampton University. She serves on the board of the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Diversity Council. She volunteers her time across several organizations including CitySquare, North Texas Food Bank, Junior Achievement, Women of AT&T and The NETwork. In 2022, Alexis was recognized by D CEO magazine as a Women Leading in Tech & Innovation. She also received an appointed to the Dallas County Citizens’ Election Advisory Committee and serves on the Dallas County Voter Center committee. She has held a variety of leadership positions within her sorority and is a multi-year recipient of the national President’s Service Volunteer Award.
