Laura Yecies

Laura Yecies is the CEO of Osteoboost Health, Inc., the company behind the first and only FDA-cleared, non-drug wearable for low bone density. She has over 30 years of leadership experience in the technology and medical sectors. Under her leadership, the company has secured $4.7 million in NIH grants, raised $15 million in private capital, acquired and integrated the digital health platform Wellen, and generated strong sales and clinical adoption for the Osteoboost device. She also oversaw the company’s nationwide launch in May 2025, bringing proactive bone health solutions to market at scale.

Before Osteoboost, Laura served as CEO of three venture-backed startups. At SugarSync, she led the company through rapid growth, expanding revenue to over $20 million, leading to the company’s acquisition by J2 Global. She was also CEO of Catch, a productivity app company, which she successfully sold to Apple, and CEO of Neurosync (formerly SyncThink), a neurotechnology company adopted by major medical centers and sports teams. 

Laura is also an active advisor and executive coach for early-stage digital health and therapeutics companies, focusing on supporting women founders. She serves on several nonprofit boards and has been involved with Bay Area Cancer Connection, ATMA Connect, and the State Department’s TechWomen program. She holds an MBA from Harvard, an MS from Georgetown, and a BA from Dartmouth. She speaks four languages and lives in the Bay Area with her family.
