As an experienced HR executive, Jo-Anna has over 25 years of progressive experience in human resource management in the financial services industry.  Her work in HR Shared Services has included the strategic design to build and develop the HR Operational functions as well HR technology.  Jo-Anna has been involved in over 15 HR system implementations as well as several HR transformation projects where the scope included in  process re-engineering and change management.  Her belief is that technology is to be leveraged to enhance the HR strategic technology vision as well as deliver technology and services that provide an extraordinary employee experience.  She believes implementing technology without this vision will not drive success. 

Jo-Anna is currently the Vice President of US HR Shared Services and Munich RE, where she oversees the HR Service Center, HR Operations, Payroll, Reporting and Technology, as well as HR technology strategy.  Her team supports over 5,000 employees in North America.  Prior to joining Munich RE, she served as the Vice President of Shared Services in the US for Toronto Dominion Bank, supporting over 28,0000.  Prior to that, at Commerce Bank, she built their first HR Shared Services function, which grew to support an employee base of over 16,000 employees. 

Jo-Anna’s team was the 2023 recipient the Mid-Atlantic’s HR Department of the Year Award in HR Technology; an award recognizing outstanding achievements in this area.   

Jo-Anna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Cedar Crest College.  She is dedicated to giving back to the community and serves as the Chairperson of the Student Relations Committee of her local SHRM Chapter, Tri State HRMA.  Jo-Anna also serves as the President of the Ocean County Women’s Association, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships for women who are pursuing their college education.
