Kim Box is an independent director on the public company board of McGrath Rentcorp (NASDAQ:MGRC), where she chairs the Compensation Committee and contributes as a member and past Chair of the Nomination/Governance Committee. Ms. Box served for 9 years as an Independent Director on the American River Bank board (NASDAQ:AMRB), serving as Chair of the Finance & Capital Committee and Directors Loan Committee, alongside her membership in the Audit Committee. She is also currently on Applied Science, Inc., a private medtech company, board of directors and serves on the Compensation Committee.
Formerly a Vice President at HP, she led a $1B global organization across 100+ locations, leading digital and workforce transformations. She was the CEO and President at Gatekeeper Innovation, Inc. (acquired by RxGuardian.) During her tenure she grew the revenue 500% and pioneered advancements in abuse deterrent packaging for prescription medication safety.
Ms. Box’s board and executive leadership span various domains, including information technology, strategic leadership, digital transformation, M&A, global operations, AI, cybersecurity, and technology support. She holds certification from; UC Berkeley course Artificial Intelligence – Business Strategies and Applications, NACD Directorship Certification™ and a CERT in Cybersecurity Oversight. She was honored as one of the NACD Directorship 100™ as a leader in board governance. Ms. Box also serves on NACD Northern California board and is the past Chair of board.
