Lorine Pendleton

Lorine Pendleton is the Founder and Managing Partner of 125 Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in the future of sports, media, and entertainment, with a particular focus on women’s sports. A seasoned investor, attorney, and business development executive, Lorine brings more than a decade of experience investing in early-stage companies, with more than 40 investments across technology, media, sports, fintech, health, and consumer sectors.

Prior to founding 125 Ventures, Lorine was a Partner at Portfolia, where she launched and led the Rising America Funds, investing in high-growth companies founded by women and underrepresented entrepreneurs. Her portfolio includes companies such as Oura, Maven Clinic, Canela Media, Curastory, MoCaFi, and Goalsetter.

Lorine began her career in media and entertainment, working at the William Morris Agency and as an entertainment attorney representing artists and industry leaders including Prince, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Ruff Ryders Records, and the Estate of The Notorious B.I.G. She later held business development roles at technology startups, including companies that successfully exited to Interactive One and Oracle.

A recognized leader in venture capital and inclusive investing, Lorine was named a 2024 Women of Influence in Private Markets by Private Equity International and Venture Capital Journal. She is also the New York Chair of TIGER 21 and serves in leadership and advisory roles focused on entrepreneurship and investment. Lorine is a graduate of Brown University and New York Law School.
