Marika McCauley Sine

Marika is a global sustainability leader with expertise driving business growth while delivering positive societal impact. She is a recognized advocate for action at the intersection of business interests and social and environmental good, with a track record of bringing people together across sectors and building award-winning initiatives that deliver positive impact.

Currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer of Starbucks, Marika previously held a range of sustainability roles over twenty years at Mars, Incorporated and The Coca-Cola Company. She began her career serving as an AmeriCorps Fellow and working for Oxfam addressing poverty in rural communities in the United States and Southeast Asia.

Marika holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. She is a First Mover Fellow of The Aspen Institute, served as Chair of the Consumer Goods Forum Social Sustainability Committee, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women Business Collaborative. She is from Hawaii and has lived in Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
