Myra Marcellin

Myra Marcellin is the Investment Director at Black Farmer Fund (BFF), where she leads the design and execution of the organization’s investment and business support activities. In this role, she focuses on continuous improvement in program management and implementation to help BFF achieve the greatest possible impact in the communities it serves.

Myra has more than 30 years of experience working with New England farmers and food entrepreneurs. Most recently, she served as a Financial Business Advisor with the Massachusetts Agriculture Innovation Center (MAAIC) at the Franklin County Community Development Corporation (FCCDC), where she provided business technical assistance to farmers and value-added food producers across Massachusetts.

For more than 25 years, Myra served as Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at Farm Credit East (FCE), supporting small and mid-sized farmers in achieving their business goals and helping young and beginning farmers launch and grow their operations. She also served briefly as Executive Director of The Carrot Project, advancing its mission to break down financial barriers in the agriculture and food sectors and expand access to capital.

Myra is passionate about supporting agricultural communities by strengthening local food economies, helping farm and food businesses thrive, and building a more racially diverse, equitable, and just food system. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) and as a Trustee of the Eastern States Exposition, representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
