Professional background

Norah is a partner in EY’s Strategy and Transactions practice. She has a 16+ year track record of advising senior executives and investors on  areas of operational and financial risk over 100+ transactions.  

Norah focuses on issues unique to companies in the technology sector, with extensive knowledge and experience advising her clients on the early identification of potential transaction issues, mitigation strategies to retain shareholder value, as well as the financial aspects of purchase agreement negotiations.  

Norah is a diligence and M&A subject matter expert, with extensive knowledge and experience advising strategic sellers and founder-led businesses and supporting deal processes with defensible financial information packages. 

Norah also works with tech and other companies on acquisitions, where she focuses on identifying key financial value drivers, as well as ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining business continuity during and after the M&A life cycle.

Transaction experience

Norah’s divestiture experience shows her track record in preparing and executing successful exit strategies, including:

  • Leading a cross functional divestiture team for a large PE fund’s sale of a $2B+ portfolio company
  • Managing the divestiture process for a publicly traded tech company’s $1.5B divestiture of all international operations 
  • Supporting founder-led businesses with defensible financial information packages to maximize their equity value upon exit.
