Sophia Harris
Sophia Harris currently serves the Chief Executive Officer of Organizational Development Resource Group, LLC (ODRG). She brings a wealth of diverse experience as a trusted advisor on ODRG’s national information technology, technical assistance, program management, operational efficiency, and training management support contracts. Sophia has supported organizations and components of various sizes, complexity of mission, and organizational maturity across the Department of Defense fourth estate agencies, Department of Commerce, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Homeland Security, and the United States Postal Service. Sophia’s extensive leadership experience, rooted in human centered design, assists government officials in meeting their tactical and strategic objectives, resulting in seamless project execution with low risk and high organizational performance. She brings competence, integrity, and passion for serving customers in need of human capital management, IT, critical public health, and national security services.
Sophia is a certified Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS) and practically applies human behavioral principles to create tailored programs that enhance awareness and community engagement, both nationwide and globally, on public-facing matters.
Sophia holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a special focus in Industrial Organizational Psychology. She is also an active member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and serves as Co-Chair of the Build Our Economic Wealth target initiative at the Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter. Additionally, as a member of THE BOW COLLECTIVE™ (an organization and sisterhood of the Nation’s top 1% of Black Women Enterprises who work together as “Business Philanthropists” to bring awareness, business opportunities, and capital resources to black women enterprises), Sophia mentors CEOs of startup enterprises to create economic successes that will have lasting impacts on their local communities for future generations.
