Angela Holt

Angela has worked at Middle Flint Behavioral Healthcare for over 18 years.
During this time, she held many positions. She began as a Medical Records Clerk
at the Americus Outpatient Clinic. She also held the position of Administrative
Assistant for an Executive Staff member. In this role, Angela was responsible for
the management of all hard-copy health records for individuals served.
Angela was later promoted to the Operations Analyst/Statistical Technician
position in the Utilization Management department. In this position, she
researched and developed data reports to track the utilization of authorized
service units to ensure we maximized our revenue generation.
She was then transitioned to the position of Director of Information
Technology/Management of Information Systems (IT/MIS), Total Quality
Management (TQM), and Utilization Management (UM) Coordinator. During this
time, Angela oversaw all IT/IS needs and managed our quality improvement and
utilization management processes.
In 2014, the Bridge Services Unit was formed. The intent was to develop a unit
that bridges direct service units with the administrative and financial units. In this
department, Angela was responsible for the IT/MIS, UM as well as quality assurance
and risk management functions.
In 2017, Angela was promoted to Chief Operations Officer and assisted in the
acquisition of Phoenix Health Behavioral Services that provided services to
Houston, Peach and Crawford counties. This brought Middle Flint from being
an eight-county community service board to being the safety net provider for
eleven counties.
November 2020, Angela was selected as the Chief Executive Officer of Middle
Flint BHC.
Angela was born and raised in Americus, Georgia but spent 10 years serving in the
U.S. Air Force as a Munitions Systems Craftsman. During her career in the Air
Force, Angela attended Air Force Leadership School and was inducted as a
Noncommissioned Officer in the grade of Staff Seargeant, February 1, 1999. She
also received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for Serving as Chief Munitions
Control Officer December 29, 1999. After an honorable discharge, Angela moved
back to Americus in 2000 and was hired at Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare in
2003. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern
State University and is currently enrolled in the MBA – Executive Option at the
University of North Alabama where she will be graduating December 2022.
