Deepa Narula

Deepali Narula serves as Chief Operating Officer at Conifer. Her role involves providing crucial strategic and operational leadership across Conifer’s diverse portfolio. Alongside her responsibilities in Operations, Deepali also serves as the General Manager for Conifer’s Physician Revenue Cycle Management business. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, and client management.

Before assuming her current role, Deepali held the position of Senior Vice President, HRCM Operations. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of hospital revenue cycle services, encompassing front, middle, and back components. Her innovative approach to transforming operations and introducing new capabilities contributed significantly to several of Conifer’s recent commercial successes.

Deepali joined Conifer in June 2019, bringing with her over 17 years of healthcare experience. Her background includes supporting various organizations in revenue cycle management and value-based care strategy. She has also been involved in organizational design, strategy formulation, and operational transformation. Known for her adeptness in people leadership, Deepali also possesses a strong ability to harness analytical insights to identify growth opportunities, enhance execution efficiency, and achieve tangible results.

Prior to joining Conifer, Deepali worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. During her tenure of over eight years there, she provided strategic guidance to payers, providers, private equity firms, and healthcare technology companies. Her advice centered on achieving growth and performance improvements. Notably, she held leadership roles at R1 as well, where she played a pivotal role in optimizing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for multiple healthcare providers. Before joining R1, Deepali contributed to the analytics division of General Electric’s consumer finance business.
