Kathy VanLandingham is the Chief Information Officer for leading petrochemical company LyondellBasell. She was trained as a chemical engineer but has worked in various career iterations – be it chemical engineering, supply chain, procurement, or IT. She started at LyondellBasell as the Director of Global Procurement for Corporate Services, IT, and Real Estate. Kathy joined LyondellBasell in 2013, but was promoted to CIO in 2020. She holds a BA in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and received her MBA from the George Mason University School of Business.
