Lauren is the VP, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for IFF. She defines the strategy, design, and implementation of all technology, automation, and data initiatives for IFF Information Security. She serves on the Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) Board, Evanta (Gartner) Fortune 1000 CISO Community Governing Body, Security Innovation Network (SINET) Innovation Award Judge, and National Retail Federation (NRF) IT Security Council Executive Committee (Board). Over her 20+ year career, Lauren was the Executive Director, Deputy CISO for The Estée Lauder Companies, Global Head of Insider Threat and Vendor Risk Management at The Blackstone Group, and Vice President in Technology Risk at Goldman Sachs. Lauren advised cybersecurity startups and guided 70+ CISOs of Blackstone Portfolio Companies. She also spent about 10 years leading multi-million dollar international operations and technology developments for the Department of Defense. She has an MBA from Wharton in Finance, Strategic Management, and Operational Efficiency, an MSE in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University (JHU), and a BS in Computer Science and Applied Math, with an Entrepreneurship minor, from JHU. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
