Joan currently leads the ChIPs Network, whose mission is to advance women in tech, law, and policy. ChIPs is comprised of over 5000 members in intellectual property and has more than 25 chapters around the globe. She is an advisor to Gender Fair, the first metrics-based system designed to measure gender fairness practices in corporations.
