Co-founder and Advisor, Noon Energy
Kalee Whitehouse’s background and research in economic decision-making at Carnegie Mellon University parlayed to a career in finance – recruited to help build a world class derivatives hedging program at a Fortune 50, growing the business over 300B over her tenure. It was while continuing her work in forecasting and optimization modeling at the Supply Division of the UN Headquarters in Copenhagen that she co-founded Noon Energy with CEO and inventor Chris Graves. Kalee spearheaded the extraction of Noon’s novel IP out of the Danish National Lab of Sustainability where it was developed, and kickstarted Noon’s operations in California as an early cohort of Activate at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Over the last 8 years Kalee has helped manage non-dilutive and dilutive funding strategy, and scaled Noon’s operations to a team of over 50 FTE’s and contractors with a mission driven investor and advisory team touting over 200 years of deep expertise in renewable energy and storage.
