Rethink: From Book to Action – Empowering Women’s Leadership in Business

In 2021, the release of my book, “Rethink: Smashing the Myths of Women in Business,” blazed a path for transformation in the business world. Ultimately, it helped to lay the groundwork and spark the partnership in Women Business Collaborative’s inaugural virtual conference, Rethinking and Accelerating Women’s Leadership in Business Forum (WBC Rethink Forum), which will be held on May 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM—2:00 PM EST as we delve into crucial discussions aimed at propelling women’s leadership forward in the corporate world.

Creating the WBC Rethink Forum in partnership with WBC was a natural progression following the book’s release. The book not only tackles the pervasive myths that undermine women’s roles in business but also highlights stories of resilience and success. WBC is focused on building pathways to women’s leadership, and the narratives from the book continue to allow us to establish a dedicated space where discussions could evolve from theory into actionable strategies. The forum is designed as a half-day event filled with insights from leading thought leaders and business activists committed to advancing women’s roles in the corporate sector.

From its inception, the WBC Rethink Forum is more than just a conference: it is an annual call to action. 

The selection of speakers and panelists each year is noteworthy and encompasses a diverse group of influential leaders who are at the forefront of change.
