Elizabeth Blockman
Elizabeth Blockman joined the team at Women Business Collaborative with over a decade of social justice and advocacy experience. With a background in leadership development, education, and organizing, she is thrilled to bring her systems-oriented mindset to WBC. Elizabeth is a certified educator and has received training in management best practices, anti-oppression and anti-racist methodologies, and non-violent communication. Before her tenure at WBC, she supported the management of a tech start-up, where she and her colleagues strived to make the internet more accessible. She organized and managed local campaigns, leading to the passage of DC’s Paid Family and Medical Leave law and other game-changing progressive policies for DC residents.
Elizabeth graduated from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2016, with degrees in Political Science and Jewish Ethics, respectively.
