Laura is an experienced Corporate Board Member and former Global C-suite executive with nearly 40 years of expertise in Financial Services, Insurance, and Professional Services. Proven expertise in large-scale Business Transformations, Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategy, Human Capital, and Enterprise Risk Management. As an independent board member, Laura has served on the Audit (Chair), Risk (Chair), Compensation and CEO Search Committees.
Laura has been recognized as a DEI advocate and is a Business Insurance’s (BI’s) 2013 “Women to Watch” and 2023 Accord’s Women’s Insurance Advancement Award honoree. She is currently on BI’s Women to Watch Foundation Board and is leading the Million Women Mentor’s Women in Insurance DEI Initiative.
A member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and Extraordinary Women on Boards (EWOB). She holds an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg Graduate School of Management (1995) and a BS in Accounting from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (1984).
