Selena Johnson

I am currently a Collections Specialist at Steel River Systems, LLC. I have about 7 years of experience in the Financial Industry. I joined Steel River Systems as a Collections Specialist to gain a different side of experience within the industry and acquire new skillsets needed to grow professionally and aid in the success of a growing organization.
Prior to joining Steel River Systems, I was an Operations Team Lead, Inventory Specialist. I’ve held a leadership role for over 8 years in different careers. I’ve managed individual employees, teams, and groups. I have maintained a background in Inventory Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Business Process Improvement, Vendor Management, New Business Management, and Hiring and Onboarding.
I am passionate about the effects different types of Leadership have on organizations and identifying the difference between managing and leading. I am also passionate about operation strategies and process improvements.
I took a career break to focus on my mental health and re-evaluate my career goals and set a clear path for myself. During this time I also started a blog. Writing has been a passion of mine, and my dream is to write a book someday.
I have a diploma in Operations Management and certifications in Strategic Management- Corporate Strategy, Supervising Skills- Managing Employee Production, Developing New Managers, Fundamentals of Project Management, The Recruitment and Onboarding Process, and Supervision Skills- Managing Groups and Employee Interactions.
