Dawn MacLaren

Dawn MacLaren is an executive level business leader with more than twenty years of success spanning global management consulting, information technology, financial services, and non-profit support. Focused on working with c-suite executives and their teams to build strategies, crystallize purpose-driven goals, and drive enterprise-wide transformation, Dawn continues to find adventure in mining the intrinsic value that comes with change. She believes that systemic, lasting progress requires honoring people, so they feel empowered to forge untested paths, with courage, integrity, and grace. Her 20+ year career spans business strategy, operational planning and delivery, large diversified team leadership, as well as driving innovative, technology-fueled change. Dawn’s experience includes executive-facing consulting to Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Citi, Advance Auto, and others. At the same time, Dawn’s previous roles include Partner with a privately held professional services firm, Acting Chief Operating Officer for a privately held educational software company, and Business Planning for a proprietary medical device company. Though her roles have varied, the consistent thread is a steadfast commitment to integrity, partnership, collaboration, and results that serve both long- and near-term objectives. Dawn has remained active as a mentor for young and professional women. In addition, she serves on the Executive Board as Vice Chair for Dress for Success Triangle NC and on the Executive Board for ATHENA International, most recently as Chair of the Finance Committee. In addition, Dawn remains a contributing member of the North Carolina Symphony’s Digital Reach Committee, serves as Board Director for American Friends of the Chateau de Compiegne, and is a proud supporter of UN Women USA as well as organizations focused on elevating under-served communities through education along with programs for social and economic empowerment.
