Elaine Hamilton

Elaine Hamilton is Founder and President of Innovative Materials – a wholesale Architectural Finishes & Interior Furniture supplier that curates beautiful ‘Made in America’ products from manufacturers who incorporate design innovations that reduce cost. Elaine says their mission is to encourage the implementation of invention – making modern sustainable products accessible across budgets from luxury to economy. “We believe everyone deserves to Live Beautiful – meaning tranquil home & work spaces that promote productivity and good sense of well being.”

Elaine began her career as one of the 1st African American female broadcast television editors in the country for the ABC Affiliate. Having earned 2 Mid-America Emmy awards for documentary editing, she started VISION5 Video Publishing in 2001. V5 produced videos for organizations such as the NFL’s Committee of the 101, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Liberty Memorial WW1 Museum and US Army.

As a technical artist and communications expert, Elaine says she’s continually fascinated by emerging media outlets, technology utilization, evolving design practices, product innovation and the human imagination. In 2015 she combined her passions with VISION5’s content capacity to start Innovative Materials and build their own brand. She also believes in building kind, open, respectful relationships with every person she meets.
