Monica Mizzi (she/her) brings a wealth of experience and a passion for women’s empowerment to the WBC, joining from her role as the previous strategic partnership’s senior manager at The Society of Women Engineers. With over a decade dedicated to event planning, sales, and strategic partnerships, Monica is a tireless advocate for advancing women in various sectors.
Her extensive professional background includes orchestrating events and leading fundraising initiatives, making her a seasoned professional in the nonprofit sector. Monica’s forward-thinking approach have been instrumental in conceptualizing and executing impactful partnerships that not only align with the nonprofit’s mission but also significantly contribute to its growth and influence. Her commitment extends beyond routine responsibilities, driving support towards causes she deeply believes in.
A proud Chicago native, Monica holds a degree in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds fulfillment in practicing yoga and engaging in outdoor activities with her husband, daughter, and chocolate lab.
